Dr Colin Hutchison
Director & Co-Founder
Dr Colin Hutchison is the Founder and CEO of Kaweka Health a private healthcare group in New Zealand. Kaweka Health is currently working with senior medical staff to build private hospitals in five locations across New Zealand.
A medical doctor by background, Colin has been involved in all levels of Public Healthcare leadership including Chief Operating Officer of Hawke’s Bay DHB where he supported a team of 2,500 with a budget of $240m. More recently Colin has supported patient advocacy as Medical Director of Kidney Health New Zealand.
Colin has joined the AskDora team to utilize their technologies and business models to empower the patient as a consumer in the healthcare industry.
David Thompson
Director & Co-Founder
A 25 year veteran in the Hospitality & Tourism industries, David has held senior management and General Management positions with major hotel groups on both sides of the Tasman. He has owned and run his own successful restaurant & also Hospitality Consultant Company Martarni & Associates. In more recent years, David has proudly been the CEO of affiliate company
Book Me Bob.
David has a strong affiliation with medicine, as his father, Dr Phil Thompson, was one of the first generational Plastic and Reconstructive surgeons in Australia; the world pioneer in Cleft lip repair surgery. Being raised in a medically entrenched household, David has a unique insight into healthcare management, and a lifetime of observing the complexities of medical administration.
Georgia Palmer
National Operations Manager
Georgia brings over a decade’s customer service experience to the AskDora team.
From her time working in the reception of one of the London’s busiest dental practice to establishing a private healthcare practice in Hawkes Bay, Georgia knows firsthand where the pressure points of a healthcare practice are.
Georgia studied an MSC at the University of Otago, and more recently an MBA at Massey University, which coupled with her medical administrative experience, she aims to transform the patient experience in healthcare practices.
Andy Dharmani
Co-Founder & CTO
Andy is a pioneer in AI technologies, leading us into the next evolution of AI voice. Andy has a strong history within the tech industry. He was one of the original 10 employees of 2degrees at launch, building critical IT systems from the ground up. His extensive knowledge of telephony systems helped shore up the business to grow to what it is today.
More recently, Andy was the CEO of a global payments company Flo2Cash, before venturing into AI. As the Asia-Pacific leading AI expert, Andy joined forces with David to co-found affiliate company Book Me Bob.
Andy’s passion for AI coupled with his extensive experience, has shaped him into one of the industry’s leading AI engineering experts. Andy sees the potential for this technology in healthcare and is leading the healthcare AI revolution.
